The wind. Starting with a light morning breeze and picking up throughout the day the Trade Winds let you pick the ideal windsurfing time for your level of expertise. Sailing is safe thanks to the side/onshore wind, which brings in tired sailors to the well known sandy Bozo Beach. The ocean terrain. East of our center, is a shallow reef that acts as a wave breaker insuring easy and safe launching. A deep reef about 1/4 mile out to sea, creates wave sailing conditions, challenging for experts but yet user friendly. Speed Slalom sailors shred the distance between the shore and the reef waves. The Gear. Boards. We pride ourselves by offering a variety of boards made by the leading shapers in the world. For winter 2008, we feature boards made by JP, Naish, Tabou, Real Wind, Exocet, Quatro and Bic Sport. It is a lot of fun to test and compare boards of similar volume designed by different shapers. Boards range from small Wave boards, through Free Ride and Free Style all the way to Formula Racing boards. We continuously replace boards when newer designs come out. Current board list available upon request. Sails. From the Naish Sails loft. Sizes range from 3.7m2 to 9.0m2. Featuring: Force Wave sails, AMP Freeride, Sprint Free Slalom and Evolution for Formula Racing. Kids rigs. We carry professional looking, high performing rigs for future adults. The gaastra mavericks are light and rip. Beginner gear. Wide stable boards with ultra light rigs, make learning fun and a self rewarding experience. Lesson Programs. Whether this will be your first windsurfing experience, or you are a World Cup candidate, there are always ways to improve your speed and performance. We offer beginner lessons, right through wave riding. Our certified, and experienced instructors have a love of the sport. It is reflected in their lessons. We have an extensive variety of lesson options available, and are ready to customize it for you. Complete Windsurfing vacations. We offer complete holiday packages that include hotel Accommodation, Windsurfing Gear, Club facilities, and even, transportation to and from the airport. Booking and paying before you arrive in Cabarete will always be rewarded by discounted rental rate. Board rental options. Those who are already here, or have their own accommodations can rent by the hour, the afternoon, for a couple of days or a couple of weeks.
